Bare-root Rhizome Terms
We sometimes sell plants categorized as bare-root rhizomes. Generally, this means that plants were recently divided over their dormancy period and kept in cold storage until spring. These plants are recommended for experienced growers since they will take some some time to settle in. Bare-root rhizome plants are guaranteed to be healthy but may have some damage or newly emerging leaves that are pale from being kept in storage. We offer no guarantees beyond live arrival for these plants. If you are in doubt about your growing conditions, we recommend purchasing established plants instead.
