The plants photographed on our website are representative of the size and quality of the plant you will receive unless stated in the product description.
We offer a live arrival guarantee on all plants. Plants will arrive healthy upon receipt. This means that the plant will not be displaying any distress beyond what would be expected due to being shipped. Some brown leaves, dead pitchers or traps and minor cosmetic damage to foliage can happen in the shipping process and will not have any long-term impact on plant health.
We reserve the right to hold plants if your temperatures in your area are outside the recommended range. If temperatures are outside this range and you’d still like the plant shipped immediately, you can either waive the live arrival guarantee or opt for:
Heat packs provide protection against temperatures that are down to 10 degrees below the recommended temperature range.
Cold weather shipping kits provide protection against temperatures that are down to 20 degrees below the recommended temperature range.
Warm weather shipping kits provide protection against temperatures up to 20 degrees above the recommended shipping range.
For XL plants or quantities of 5 or more, please inquire with us on the cost of larger hot/cold weather shipping charges. We do have larger insulated boxes that can accommodate any size plant.
The recommended plant temperature shipping ranges are as follows:
temperate plants - (20F- 100F)
highland/intermediate tropical plants (38F-90F)
lowland tropical plants (45F-100F)
A delivery address that can receive USPS packages must be provided for each order. If there are failed attempts by USPS to deliver the package, it is the customer's responsibility to contact their local post office to make delivery arrangements within 2 days of the failed attempt. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee live arrival.
We offer curbside pickup.
If there are any plant health issues upon arrival, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of receipt of the plant and provide photos. We’ll quickly address any issues. Plants are shipped USPS Priority Mail unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed upon with buyer and seller. Plants will be shipped un-potted with their roots wrapped in sphagnum moss unless otherwise indicated. Plants are shipped to all 50 US States and Puerto Rico. International shipment of plants is not available at this time. Seeds may be shipped worldwide in compliance with the country's seed importation rules and regulations.
We do not accept returns of healthy plants. If a plant arrives dead or in unacceptable condition, we will send a replacement plant of similar value. We may request the damaged plant to be returned and a pre-paid return label will be provided. Please email us with photos and written description of the damage within 48 hours of the plant's arrival to receive a replacement. Please contact us at email@example.com for further information.
If you feel that you have received the wrong product, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of receiving the product.
Refunds and Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled up until they are being prepared for shipment. Cancellation requests made within 24 hours of purchase will be offered a full refund. Requests made after 24 hours will be offered store credit.
