This is a cutting from a female plant. Currently in flower!
A stunning hybrid from Carnivero's breeding stable. Song of Melancholy was of one Leilani Nepenthes's signature crosses and is believed to be Nepenthes boschiana x (spectabilis x veitchii). The male parent is a beautiful selected clone of Nepenthes (lowii x veitchii) x boschiana which we call "white" because of its white, striped peristome that contrasts with a red pitcher body. Both parents are extremely vigorous plants that can be grown in a wide range of conditions and we expect the same of all the seedlings. The pitchers should produce large, colorful pitchers.

Popcorn bidding is an anti-sniping feature that extends the auction time by a small
amount to give each participant a fair chance to place their final bid.
