Nepenthes 'Red Dragon' x veitchii (Murud x "Candy") - Striped. Simply put, these are outstanding plants. Think truncata x veitchii but with the potential for even deeper reds. The female parent is a thorelii x truncata specimen from Exotica Plants that exhibits huge, red pitchers. It's an extremely vigorous grower. The male parent is (Murud x "Candy") - Striped which originally came to us as a seedling from Christian Klein's excellent breeding. This clone was retained from a large batch of others because of its exceptional shape, color and vigor. The high necks should make for some beautiful combinations.
