Nepenthes veitchii "Cobra"

Regular price $2,100.00Nepenthes veitchii “Cobra” is one of the best veitchii on the planet in our opinion. It has a high peristome that opens wide and rolls back minimally giving it the appearance of a cobra with its hood open. On top of this amazing feature, it also has an incredibly squat shape, pink body (grown under cooler conditions) and gorgeous striping. Its peristome darkens to a chocolate cherry color as it ages.
The plant for sale is exhibiting variegation in the previous 2 leaves but the newest one is not variegated. In our experience, this sometimes can be retained in future leaves but most oftentimes regresses. This cutting taken off the exact mother plant in the photos.
