Nepenthes sibuyanensis "Patches" x truncata (c) - Giant, CAR-0029
A cross between our variegated sibuyanensis "Patches" and our giant truncata (c). These plants should produce huge, robust and colorful pitchers as they mature. We've grown plants from previous greges (see photo 2) and they are some of the largest Nepenthes pitchers produced. Though we have not yet observed variegation in any of the seedlings, it's possible it could be expressed later on. We have noticed that the previous greges needed to grow to a large size before the mature pitcher characteristics were displayed and this cross seems to be consistent with that. They will be best grown under intermediate to lowland conditions.
