Philodendron dolichogynium (formerly sp macas) - Exact Plant 01/19/24
$69.99
Regular price $48.99Philodendron dolichogynium, formerly sp. Macas, is a gorgeous new species from Southeastern Ecuador recently introduced into cultivation. It produces long, strap shaped leaves. The petioles are particularly elongated which helps it stretch out to receive light as it grows as an epiphyte in nature. It's really a must have for the collector and is a fast grower under warm conditions.
Like most Philodendrons, this variety prefers moist but well-draining soil and some humidity. As it climbs, it should be staked or allowed to climb up moss poles. In higher humidity environments, numerous aerial roots will form which gives the plants a beautiful look.
This product is considered an Intermediate Tropical plant. Please see our Aroid Shipping guidelines and Shipping and Guarantees policy.
Most of our products come with multiple shipping options. For those that are unpotted, you can add Pots and Soil a la carte.
