Sarracenia leucophylla var. alba "Hurricane Creek White"

Regular price $40.00

Sarracenia leucophylla is an American Pitcher Plant found in bogs mainly in Alabama , the Florida panhandle and Georgia.  The species produces pitchers with beautiful white light windows highlighted in reds.  Unlike other members of the genus, leucophylla produces its very best pitchers in the fall.

"Hurricane Creek White" is one of the most impressive leucophylla varieties.   Plants are robust with a unique shape and have bright white tops.  Sadly, this locale is now extirpated in the wild.  Note that pitcher coloration may be both seasonally dependent and varying with the age of the plant.  It can also change as pitchers age.

Please see the information below regarding the exact clone offered for sale.  Photos are representative of leucophylla var alba.
