'White Wizard' is among one of the most sought after and rare variegated Philodendrons. The white variegation is extremely bright and it often occurs on both the stem and leaves.
For best coloration, light should be on the brighter side. Like most Philodendrons, this variety prefers moist but well-draining soil and some humidity. As it climbs, it should be staked or allowed to climb up moss poles. In higher humidity environments, numerous aerial roots will form which gives the plants a beautiful look.
Please note that due to the nature of variegation, each plant is a unique individual. There will be variability from plant to plant and even from one leaf to another on the same plant. For this reason, we are unable to guarantee a specific amount of variegation especially younger plants (which often don't show variegation until they are 6" across).
NOTE 1: Some of the specimen plants had a bit of a fungus infection during import and were promptly treated with fungicide. Spots may be present in the older leaves but not on the new growth.
NOTE 2: We're selling plants of various levels of variegation. Since the variegation level from leaf to leaf can be expressed randomly, it's possible that future leaves or cuttings of "reverted" or low variegation plants could be highly variegated.
