Regular price $13.99These are seed raised Nepenthes adrianii x truncata produced by our in house breeding program. The mother plant is an gorgeous seed raised Nepenthes adrianii native to Java. This species is not widely available in cultivation and is very closely related to Nepenthes spathulata (except that it’s colored deep red). The father plant is huge, beautifully striped Nepenthes truncata (c) from Exotica Plants. This cross will be a winner for sure! We expect it to produce deep red bodied, huge pitchers and grow well under a wide range of conditions. Additionally, we've noticed that these plants have "semi-variegated" leaves just like our female adrianii. We had thought this was a potential virus on the mother plant but now see it's likely a genetic trait passed down since diseases and pests would not have transferred with the seed it produced.
