Regular price $27.99Nepenthes spathulata has always been one of our favorite species. It is a highland grower with its range extending along the southernmost parts of the Barisan Range all the way down to the southern tip of Sumatra. Plants typically exhibit a green pitcher body with gaping red/purple peristome. The pitchers can attain impressive size. The plants for sale are seed grown from Gunung Tanggamus. We observed plants to be exceptionally robust on this mountain compared to other locations. Though we have found Nepenthes spathulata to be tolerant of many changes to its environment, it is rather exacting in its temperature requirements so we would only recommend this plant for people with solid highland conditions (in particular cool nights).
