Drosera gunniana
active year-round, this one follows a distinct seasonal cycle. It starts off as a vibrant green rosette, with leaves that sparkle thanks to the sticky dew it uses to trap insects.
After some time, a thin stalk rises from the center of the rosette. This stem, lined with tiny sticky traps, can grow up to 12 inches tall and helps the plant catch even more prey.
Eventually, the stalk dies back, and the rosette fades as well. At that point, the plant goes dormant and survives as a small red tuber underground. During dormancy, it’s best to let the soil dry out completely, or carefully remove the tuber to prevent rot. When you notice new growth starting to pop up, that’s your cue to either replant the tuber or begin watering again.
This product is considered a temperate plant. Please see our Shipping and Guarantees policy for cold/hot weather shipping guidelines.
Most of our products come with multiple shipping options. For those that are unpotted, you can add Pots and Soil or Hanging Baskets a la carte.
