Nepenthes [(Rokko x boschiana) x veitchii] x edwardsiana, CAR-0811 has the potential to produce truly spectacular plants with intense coloration, heavily toothed peristomes, and far better vigor than a pure edwardsiana-type hybrid might suggest. Similar grexes released by other breeders have already proven themselves to be exceptional, combining savage aesthetics with surprisingly manageable growth. The elite parentage used in this cross should push those qualities even further, with the possibility for dramatic striping, broad flaring peristomes, and imposing pitcher form. We are extremely excited to watch these mature and see just how far this cross can go.
