Nepenthes "Kelabisan Crown", CAR-1059
Nepenthes "Kelabisan Crown" commands attention with bold, flared peristomes etched in vivid striping, giving each pitcher a sculptural, crown-like presence. The parentage of this cross is Nepenthes veitchii BE-4033 x ovata BE-3133. Given the ovata heritage, we expect pitchers to open in glowing orange before deepening into rich red with warm, sunset tones across the peristome. This pairing brings together two of the most iconic species—each occupying similar ecological niches in their respective native habitats of the Kelabit Highlands in Borneo and Barisan Range in Sumatra.
We expect these to be adaptable, strong growers across a wide range of conditions. They should rewards growers with increasingly striking pitchers as it matures. A standout for collectors who want a plant that performs as boldly as it looks.
This product is considered an Intermediate Tropical plant. Please see our Shipping and Guarantees policy for cold/hot weather shipping guidelines.
