Regular price $17.50Nepenthes ventricosa (MT Black Peristome x (k)), CAR-0213
Nepenthes ventricosa is a perfect beginner’s plant! Hailing from the Phillipines, it's known for being one of the hardiest and most adaptable Nepenthes species. It produces waisted, waxy pitchers that are tough and long-lasting. This is a cross between our Black Peristome clone from MT and (k) from EP. It takes a while for ventricosa to produce mature pitchers but we expect that within a few leaves these will be putting out huge, deep red ones. The Black Peristome clone is very vigorous and (k) produces blood red traps with a gorgeously flared peristome is also incredibly vigorous. This cross is very fast growing (even for ventricosa standards) and plants in our lowland, intermediate and highland greenhouses seem to do equally well.
Plants are seed grown unless otherwise specified.
See our Nepenthes growing guide for more information on how to grow them.
This product is considered a Intermediate Tropical plant. Please see our Shipping and Guarantees policy for cold/hot weather shipping guidelines.
Most of our products come with multiple shipping options. For those that are unpotted, you can add Pots and Soil or Hanging Baskets a la carte.
