Drosera Slackii [Stanford, Republic of South Africa], IMP-0098
Drosera slackii is a striking South African sundew prized for its elegant form. Under strong lighting, the foliage often develops beautiful bronze coloration that contrasts dramatically against its red dew-covered tentacles.
Originally thought to be a form of Drosera aliciae by the legendary British grower Adrian Slack, the species was later separated and described as his namesake. It's a fairly easy grower and rewarding for beginners and experienced growers alike. It grows best under cooler conditions and can quickly develop into an eye-catching specimens with tall stems and clumps of basals rosettes. Its combination of graceful appearance and size make it a standout addition to any carnivorous plant collection.
