Nepenthes ventricosa x naga, CAR-0849. An exceptional cross pairing the refined elegance of ventricosa with the dramatic, near-black intensity of naga. Ventricosa lends its symmetrical, gently waisted pitchers and flared peristome, while naga contributes its prized, almost jet-black coloration and pronounced peristome ridges. The result is a vigorous, visually striking hybrid with the potential for deep, moody tones contrasted by clean, sculpted pitcher shapes. Each seed-grown plant is genetically unique, offering a one-of-a-kind expression of these two celebrated species.
