Regular price $56.24Nepenthes lowii is one of the most iconic pitcher plant species. Renown for its toilet-like shape, these plants benefit nutritionally by functioning as lavatories for tree shrews as the animals lick the exudate (sugar) from their lids.
Lowii needs very good drainage or is prone to rot especially when young. We recommend using net pots and a mix with a high portion (>50%) of perlite or other coarse well draining components. The soil should not be kept too wet and should be allowed to go to just damp in between waterings.
