Nepenthes ulukaliana, CAR-0877
In our book, Nepenthes ulukaliana would be formidable contender for the most underappreciated Nepenthes species in the genus. Its pitchers exhibit gorgeous striping with a flared peristome and a unique toothy shape underneath the peristome neck which isn’t commonly encountered. Thus far, there’s been only a very limited number of clones available to collectors. The plants we are offering are new gentic materials from the Genting Highlands and exhibit a wide range of colors and shapes already.
We’ve found Nepenthes ulukaliana to appreciate highland conditions but it can grow well under intermediate conditions as well.
Note that the taxonomy of this species was recently redone thanks to the magnificent work done by an international team of researchers over the last decade. This species was formerly classifed as Nepenthes macfarlanei which is a different species altogether.
This product is considered a Highland Tropical plant. Please see our Shipping and Guarantees policy for cold/hot weather shipping guidelines.
Most of our products come with multiple shipping options. For those that are unpotted, you can add Pots and Soil or Hanging Baskets a la carte.
