Nepenthes veitchii Candy CK x trusmadiensis SG, CAR-0996
Nepenthes veitchii 'Candy CK' x trusmadiensis SG, CAR-0996
Nepenthes veitchii is renowned for its vibrant coloration, bold striping, and extravagantly flared peristome, making it one of the most eye-catching species of the genus. Paired with Nepenthes X trusmadiensis, a legendary hybrid famous for its massive, toothy peristome and imposing stature, this cross brings together two of the most visually striking lineages in the genus.
Expect pitchers adorned with the rich colors and candy-striped patterns that have made Candy CK so sought after, enhanced by the powerful influence of X trusmadiensis. As the plant matures, the peristome should develop impressive width and pronounced ribbing, with the potential for dramatic teeth that add an unmistakably fierce character to the pitchers. The result is a hybrid that is both aggressive and elegant.
This cross should be easy to grow under a wide range of conditions.
