Nepenthes clipeata
An absolutely unique and fascinating species from Kalimantan on the island of Borneo. It produces gorgeous porcelain colored pitchers with vaulted lids. The pitchers seem to hang in the air due to the midleaf (peltate) tendril insertions. This species is highly endangered and only a few plants still exist in the wild but thankfully it's in tissue culture.
Thankfully this highly endangered species is now produced from a variety of sources. CAR plants are produced in house from our lab.
This product is considered a Lowland Tropical plant. Please see our Shipping and Guarantees policy for cold/hot weather shipping guidelines.
Most of our products come with multiple shipping options. For those that are unpotted, you can add Pots and Soil or Hanging Baskets a la carte.
