This is likely the most anticipated hybrid ever produced and combines the sinister teeth from Nepenthes hamata and edwardsiana. We've found it a much easier grower than edwardsiana yet it still produces the similar rigid teeth and deep red coloration. This cross has been made twice, the first in Germany using a hamata from Lumut. Plants for sale are from this cross and shipped potted. We've also made this cross at Carnivero using hamata from Tambusisi. Photos 1-4 are courtesy of Dr. Stefan Gladish (who has one of the world's largest specimens to date) and used with permission.
