Nepenthes lowii x ephippiata is a cross between 2 of the most iconic Bornean endemics. Originally the horticultural cross was done in Europe and then redone by Shinya Yamada of Japan. All the offspring I have seen so far have been intermediate between the 2 parent species. My experience growing the plants to near maturity has been that they are exceptionally vigorous compared to the parent species.
Plants for sale are from Y's Exotics in Japan and are a random selection of clones from tissue culture.
