Nepenthes rigidifolia is the most endangered of all Nepenthes species and is functionally extinct in the wild. It produces squat richly colored pitchers and grows best as a highland plant. The plants for sale are from Malesiana Tropicals. These plants are a random mix of 3 clones in tissue culture so there's a good chance there could be males and females in the mix. Producing horticultural seed may be the only hope to preserve this plant for future generations.
