Nepenthes Song of Melancholy produces bright red pitchers with red and gold striped peristomes crossed with lowii x veitchii, a timeless cross that produces the best of both parents. It also grows well in a wide range of conditions from intermediate to highland and even performed well in our lowland house over a few months.
Plants are seed grown individuals so some variability is to be expected.
