A stunning hybrid from Carnivero's breeding stable. Song of Melancholy was of one Leilani Nepenthes's signature crosses and is believed to be Nepenthes boschiana x (spectabilis x veitchii). The male parent is our incredible Nepenthes spathulata x jacquelineae which is the best clone selected by Borneo Exotics for its deep cherry color, vigor and unparalleled peristome flare. These seedlings are vigorous growers that seem to do well under highland, intermediate and lowland conditions. We expect the pitchers to have huge flared peristome and be gorgeously striped with deep coloration.
