A lowland species from Sulawesi that is reported to grow predominately in ultramaffic soil. We find it very vigorous in cultivation. It stays relatively small with squat shaped pitchers that darken to deep purple. This species would make a great terrarium grower. Plants for sale are from Borneo Exotics.
