Nepenthes veitchii (Akazukin x Bareo striped)

Nepenthes veitchii (Akazukin x Bareo Striped) is an exceptional species cross out of Japan.  Both parents are exceptional and the offspring produced are some of the best in cultivation with squat, pink pitchers and wide, gorgeously striped peristomes. 

The plants available are of a selected clone out of tissue culture.  The first photo shows an example of one of the selected clones.  This clone is really exceptional, producing a squat shape with candy striped peristome and pink pitcher body when mature.
