Regular price $17.99

Nepenthes ‘Bill Bailey’ is a beautiful tropical pitcher plant named after the famous British comedian whose done a great deal for conservation of endangered species worldwide.  This is a vigorous variety that produces beautiful, purple pitchers.  It can be grown in a wide variety of conditions and succeeds in home settings including sunny windowsills and terrariums.

This is a cross between Nepenthes singalana and Nepenthes ventricosa.

We recommend the following conditions:

Temperature: 50-85 degrees

Light: In a windowsill, provide a few hours of direct sunlight.  Greenhouses 50-75% shading.  Artificial lighting: 400 PPFD

Watering: 2-3 times per week

Humidity: Some humidity supplement can be beneficial such as a room humidifier or a misting with a spray bottle a couple times a day.

Feeding: 1-2 bugs per pitcher per month.  You can also use 1-2 osmocote pellets if bugs give you the creeps!

See our Nepenthes growing guide for more information on how to grow them.  Here's our sizing guide.
